Ozzy Osbourne dies weeks after epic farewell show

Ozzy Osbourne, the iconic "Prince of Darkness" and "Godfather of Metal" from Black Sabbath, has died at the age of 76.

A family statement confirmed he was surrounded by his family when he passed away.

Born in Birmingham, England, he co-founded Black Sabbath in 1967, achieving significant success with albums like their self-titled debut and Paranoid.

Known for his wild antics, including biting the head off a bat, Osbourne endured decades of hard living, drug and alcohol abuse, and various controversies.

Despite later health issues, he remained active, releasing a Grammy-winning solo album in 2022 and performed his final show at “Back to the Beginning” concert at Villa Park in Birmingham.
